Celebration_Irene Andessner

The exhibition shows a selection of special productions and provides an insight into Irene Andessner's latest projects. In her transformations, role models become a new reality, revealing themselves in strong gender images through the power of the gaze and posture. Meanwhile, the artist has embodied over a hundred different roles. She has archived them within herself for her work, preserved them for the viewer, and made them strikingly visible and tangible through painting, photography, video and performance.
