GOODBYE PAINTINGS
Simone Haack, Elisabeth Plank, Olga Shcheblykina
In the exhibition GOODBYE PAINTINGS, the works of Simone Haack, Elisabeth Plank and Olga Shcheblykina come together, showcasing their distinct approaches to painting. Each of the three artists has developed a unique artistic position. Simone Haack explores the fragility of human existence in her "hair landscapes" through a style reminiscent of New Magic Realism. Elisabeth Plank delves into the fundamental vocabulary of the painting process in a continuous search for new expressions. Olga Shcheblykina, in her works, addresses concepts of human experience within the tension between aggression and vulnerability. Despite their different approaches, the works share a common focus on painting. This exchange of diverse perspectives offers an insight into contemporary female art. The juxtaposition of these three artistic positions will be presented for the first time at Galerie Ruberl.
