Modern Masters - Festival of Fine Art

Following the successful premiere last year, eight leading art dealers will present a week full of art, events and exhibitions.

Our program ranges from classical modernism to the Austrian avant-garde after 1945, with a focus on Oskar Kokoschka. The repertoire includes early drawings and gouaches from the 1910s, watercolors from Kokoschka's Dresden period, as well as numerous selected ink and pencil drawings by Alfred Kubin. A counterpart to this are various works such as overpaintings, crosses, face farces and body poses, gestural works on ultraphan and finger paintings by Arnulf Rainer from the years 1950 to 2000.
